Feasibility Study of Google Find Hub Support on the nRF5340 for Bluetooth Device Tracking

Hi,

I am currently in the initial research stage of my project. My objective is to explore adding Google Find Hub functionality to a Bluetooth device so that it can be located using an Android phone.

Could you please clarify whether the nRF5340DK supports the required SDK and Bluetooth stack for this use case? Are any reference implementations or example codes available for the nRF5340?

Hi Asha,

The nRF5340 is not supported for the Google Find Hub / Fast Pair Locator Tag use case in the current nRF Connect SDK. There is currently no SDK sample or supported software stack for the Locator Tag use case onnRF534. The only supported Soc is nRF54L and you can find the sample here.
