nRF51 Dongle for throughput testing

Hi, I am using NRF51 Dongle to receive transmitted data from the NRF52 DK. currently , I want to send multi packets per connection interval. my question is that does the dongle support multi packets per interval. And is there any sample code to build up multi packets communication?

Hi,

Yes, the nRF51 dongle can be used to test the throughput from a nRF52 DK. Consult the documentation for SoftDevice S132 for the nRF52 and S130 for the nRF51 Dongle to find the data throughput possibilities. Documentation for other SoftDevices can be found on the infocenter.

Have a look at this answer on how to calculate throughput as well.

Hi Karlsen, thanks for your reply. the NRF51 dongle is able to receive more than one packet per connection interval with Master Control Panel, right? But in MCP， how can i check the number of packets i have received in one connection interval.

Take a look at the nRF sniffer User Guide, itcombines firmware on our chip with the packet sniffing tool wireshark. This lets you see the stream of packets to and from devices.
