Problem modifying .hex apps in order to change values

Hello,

I am writing here because I am trying to change some concrete values from a .hex file in order to vary some BLE and other values. I need this because I need to generate 1.000 different files but in spite of being modifiying the concrete values nRFgo Studie promt me an error warning me it the following message: Failed to read hex file

I am using s110_nrf51822_7.1.0_softdevice.hex

Does anybody know how to fix this?

If you want to manually edit .hex file, you have to calculate checksum for each line so file could be interpreted correctly.

You can use the srec_cat tool to convert the Intel Hex file to binary, then modify the binary file and convert it back to Intel Hex. The tool is available at: srecord.sourceforge.net/
