Is it possible to connect multiple ble devices with the nexus 4 android application?

Hi, We have nrf51822 evaluation kit and some custom board with nrf51822 chipset(works fine). And also we have tested the nrftoolbox application with the proximity service. Since the Nexus 4 does not support unbonding properly we modified the device code (nrf51822 proximity code) to avoid bonding and now the application works much better compared to before. Is it fine to work with the application without bonding the device? How to connect multiple ble devices with an android application? (like, connecting multiple proximity devices with the ios proximity application )

Hi Balaji,

Recently the Nexus 4 gets updated to Android 4.4.2 and it works much better now regarding the bonding and unbonding issue. You may want to check if your device has the latest Android version.

If you configure your proximity profile without encryption requirement, it's would not match with the proximity profile that defined by Bluetooth SIG. And you may have interoperability issue with other vendors apps/devices.
