Scanner & Observer

Hi Team,

In current application, each BLE node (nRF51x22) need to switch between Broadcaster and observer roles. Beacon kind of behavior is required i.e. no connection.

Which softdevice is to be used in this case?

As per me S130 is the match but need some suggestion on this beacon type application.

Any good example to start with!?

Some time ago i tried to do exactly what you want. These links might help you:

Scann for other devices
Advertise for less than one second

If you can use S130 stack, use it. That will allow to do both - advertise and scann. You could achieve the same result with S110 by using timeslot API, but that would require to put a lot more effort. You can read about other ways here:
