Difference between Beacon Kit nRF51822 firmware and SDK beacon example

Question

Hi all, 
 What's the difference between the Beacon Transmitter Sample Application example given in nRF51 SDK and the beacon firmware provided in the beacon kit? Are there any added features ?
I plan to use the example of the SDK and I'm wondering if I could get more functionnalities in the one of the beacon kit.

Hi 
 The main difference is that the beacon example in the SDK is beacon only, i.e. non-connectable. The Beacon kit firmware is however connectable beacon, where you can connect to it e.g. via nrf beacon app and modify major value, minor value, RSSI, etc. 
 The beacon kit firmware functionality is explained somewhat on this thread .
