Can SoftDevice be made smaller?

Is it possible to have S110 but not more than ~30-40K size? I need to establish communication in order to upgrade firmware over BLE (UART Emulation), but without using such ~90K S110. Minimum functionality, no Security, just transferring with respond, Peripheral role. My employer want that. Please help, I go through a test period on programming job, and that is a part of a work. Writing an own stack is too hard and needs a lot of time.

Unfortunately, It is not possible to reduce the BLE softdevice size than the one released. The features are not modules to be chosen. You get the softdevice as one HEX file.
