nRFready: is it a product ?

Hi, being interested in proximity apps - I played for a while with the nRF51-DK kit when I came up with the nRFready proximity app page. I looked at description and video and I soon discovered that shown tags (the key gadgets) do not seem to have a product code nor they appear in any distributor catalog I know of. I also noticed that these tags are bound to Apple devices only. Strange .... Would anybody please explain me where I can purchase those tags ? Thanks.

nRFready proximity is an obsolete example app for proximity applications. The latest proximity application is now located in the nRF toolbox container app.

Ok thanks, but what about hardware tags shown in www.nordicsemi.com/.../eng-GB ? Are they just an example to show nRF8002 capabilities or real Nordic products I can find somewhere ?

That looks like a pebble. Not sure if it's still for sale or not, but yes it was/is a real product.

It's still surprising that I cannot see such tags anywhere in Nordic product list nor in distributor lists. My point is that we are interested to do something similar for Android, but we will give up in case a similar solution is already provided by Nordic or someone else. That's why I'm trying to understand if it is an "official" product or not.

The pebble is not a Nordic product. We are a semiconductor company and make the ble chip inside this, but not the pebble itself.
