Keil run-time environment states: 'Select Software Packs' has been used to hide some Software Components

I searched the database but did not find an answer to my question.

My environment is as follows: Keil uVision v5.18a Nordic SDK 11 nRF52 PCA10040 Softdevice S132

Take a project in example code, ble_peripheral/ble_app_hrs for example. Go to run-time environment. I see the following comment under "more":

'Select Software Packs' has been used to hide some Software Components

Why is this? How to undo the "hide" so that I can modify the chosen Software Components?

Without the ability to change "Software Components", how can one use these examples as a starting point for further development?
