eclipse missing symbols

i have a minor issue with my eclipse setup.

in the BLE_Peripheral_HTS example eclipse can't find the NRF_CLOCK_LFCLKSRC reference. codeline 604 in the main.c

Im using the S132 on a nrf52-dk.

Can someone help getting it fixed? Or tell me where all NRF_CLOCK_LFCLKSRC related defines are.

I think its because it doesn't know which one to use. Do you have CFLAGS += -DBOARD_PCA10040 and ASMFLAGS += -DBOARD_PCA10040 in your makefile?

You can also just define it in your main.c:

I tried it already. then it fails to find: "NRF_CLOCK_LF_XTAL_ACCURACY_20_PPM"

That's defined in "/components/softdevice/s132/headers/nrf_sdm.h" which is included in "softdevice_handler.h".

Add it to your include paths and include "softdevice_handler.h" in your main.

I tried to define it again and now it works. As I mentioned in Mahesh's replay. It seems eclipse cant find the proper define as there are several. The FLAGS in the makefile are only for building. Is there a way to set these Flags in eclipse?

Ohh well it doesn't work. The error in eclipse disappears but it wont build because im redefining.

I assume you followed the "Enable auto discovery of symbols, include paths and compiler settings" section in the Nordic GCC tutorial?

I checked my settings and they are slightly different from the tutorial but its working for me. For "CDT GCC Build Output Parser" I have (arm-none-eabi-gcc)|([gc]++)|(clang)

For "CDT Built-in Compiler Settings Cross ARM" I have arm-none-eabi-gcc ${FLAGS} ${cross_toolchain_flags} -E -P -v -dD "${INPUTS}"

You can try compiling with these settings and see if they work for you.
