What is IoT Device?

Hi all!!! I'm new in here. I'm reading document with link: developer.nordicsemi.com/.../index.html In Figure 1, I see a phare: "IoT Device". Is the "IoT Device" nRF5x devices? If It is nRF5x device, I don't know how to it control Iot light device. If It is nRF5x device, I don't know how to it control Iot lock device.

The IoT (Internet of Things) device can in theory be any IPv6 enabled "thing", including a nRF5x device. To learn more you should read the entire IoT documentation. Your link points to an outdated site. Read this instead. Then you can take a look at the examples in the IoT SDK. You can also find many IoT related posts in the blog section. Here are even more IoT blogs.
