License for sharing files in nrf51822 SDK

I would like to host a project developed on nrf51822 on a public platform such as github. In this project I'll be using files from the nrf51822 SDK such as the CMSIS files, peripheral drivers, linker and initialization files. I won't be using the soft device binary. Can I share these files in a public platform keeping the headers intact? This will greatly help the OpenSource community who will take this platform to great heights.

  • Unfortunately, under the current license you can't share the SDK files, but you can of course share your project itself, for example as we do here.

There will probably come changes to this distribution limitation in the not too distant future, at least with regard to the device support files themselves (i.e. nrf51.h and friends), but I can't yet promise anything about the SDK itself.
