What is Absolute Maximum Ratings of DC Current per I/O pin?

I would like to know maximum ratings of DC Current per I/O Pin. We are using nRF51822.

  • Hi, in high drive mode you can design you circuitry to sink or source up to 5mA from an output pin. It's possible to configure up to 3 pins in high drive mode. In normal drive you can draw up to 0.5mA. See the General Purpose I/O (GPIO) specifications chapter in the nRF51822 Product Specification. It's technically possible to draw more current, but then you are operating outside of specification. You won't damage the part, but we no longer guarantee correct operation as specified.
