Error registering EID Eddystone beacon

Hello.

I've been trying to use the nRF Beacon for Eddystone app to configure a nRF52 devkit. The idea is to configure a slot as EID and register it to my google account. I've gone through the procedures Google Proximity Beacon API requires and the app does set a slot as an EID frame type, but when I go to the "Register beacon" on the dropdown menu and set a random UID and press the register button, I get a 403 error message (error message: "Unknown error", error status:"Unable to register beacon"). I've used different smartphones (therefore, with different configured google accounts).

In case it may help, sometimes the error message shows in a toast, saying: "Resolver/service ECDH key missing. Please reconfigure EID slot and try again", but this seems to be associated with closing the app, reentering and trying to register. Also, Google Play Services stops working frequently when using the app.

Hi hope you have granted permissions in all three different google accounts for registering beacons. Also you are correct about the toast message as we are not saving the service ecdh key on the device locally therefore after configuring, if you don't register the beacon and you close the app, it will not have the same service ecdh key required for registration. This will require you to reconfigure the beacon. The google play services issue is something that is being currently looked at. There will be a new version of the app pretty soon. Stay tuned.

Yea this is the link. I think after enabling Google sign in and downloading the configuration file the play services should not crash.Happy to help.
