nRF51 DK -> PC - UART connection

Hello,

I wanted to know if is any way of changing the Pins for the UART and still get the data through the USB connected from the PC to the DK? Or do I need to always physically connect the new Pins to the PC?

I reviewed some questions to avoid duplication; apologies if this was already asked and/or answered.

Hi,

You can map the UART pins to any GPIO on the kit you like. It is no problem to configure the UART to use one set of pins, and then reconfigure it to use different pins at run-time later. But naturally, you will have to map the UART pins back to the pins connected to the Segger chip on the kit if you want to transfer data over USB.

Ok, thanks for the answer.

I wanted to change the pins because I'm using a PCB with a nrf51822 connected to another chip and those pins are being used for I2C communication. But I'll get it to work other way.
