Connection issues with NRF master control app on Android 5.x and 6.0

Hi Guys,

I am using Bluez 5.39 on Ubuntu 14-04 acts a the peripheral by running "example-gatt-server" which creates 3 services and serveral characteristics within it.

After advertising using "hci" command, I used NRF master control app to connect to the peripheral. Using android 4.4.2 device, the app can connect/discovery to the peripheral. However on android 5.x and 6.0 version, the app cannot connect to the peripheral.

Have you ever met the problem before? Can you give me any suggestion/idea about this issue?

Could you give us some error logs ?

On the central side, you can show and save the log in the nRF Master Control Panel application, this can maybe help.

Hi,

I found out that I did not disable BR/EDR settings withing BlueZ. Now I can use NRF master control app to connect on both android 5.x and 6.x version
