I'm using nRF Master Control Panel to test a Phone Alert Profile (PASP) I've implemented. For this, in the app I configured a GATT server that exposes the Phone Alert Service with its three characteristics. Now, in other services (e.g. Battery Service), I'm able to read the readable chars without any issue.
However in this one, even though the notification works, when I tried to specifically read the characteristics I get a READ NOT PERMITTED. I also tried bonding and got the same result. I also tried to do the same test with two phones using the same app, one as a client and other as a server, same result.
Has anybody have a similar issue? (READ NOT PERMITTED in GATT SERVER) ?
