Does SEGGER RTT cause more current to be drawn?

  • This was asked yesterday, oddly enough. The answer is no, unless you are actually using RTT, ie connected to a debugger in which case the debugger is on so yes that takes current. But if you're just running without a debugger, apart from the few extra cycles spent writing the data to memory, which is never going to be read, there's no extra current consumption.
