How to convert nrf8002 to a beacon?

Hi I have been working with nrf8002 chip. I simply want to program the hardware in a way such that it gives out a signal that can be detected by the emulator.

@simranp: What exactly is the issue here ? You can simply set-up the nRF8002 to advertise. You don't have much control over what will be inside the advertising packet but you can configure the devicename, appearance, and the advertising intervals.

Hi Simranp,

There is no programming with the nRF8002, you can only configure it by using nRFGo Studio. Please have a look here.

If you want more flexibility and that you have an MCU to program and do complex task, please have a look at our SoC nRF51 or nRF52.
