UART Parity configuration

Hello,

Is there any possibility to configure the UART parity to odd on chip? I am using the nRF51822 chip. I could activate the parity but inside the documentation they speak only about even parity. Do somebody have any solution how to solve this problem, or a workaround? A code example, etc..? Thank you.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the UART only supports even parity. I've been discussing this with some colleagues, and I do not see an obvious workaround for the issue either.

I cannot guarantee anything for future releases, but I can input it as an improvement suggestion internally.
