New design for nrf51DK

Hi,

I have not yet experienced well on the design and development an application using nrf51 series. Your help will be very useful for my work. My question is as following.

I have used nrf51-dk and developed an application using mbed platform. As a result, I was able to get the value from analog input, evaluate the proper measurements and publish it to a smart phone based on Android operating system via Bluetooth Low Energy. Now, I would like to make the electronic design small as much as possible while I am trying to use previously obtained experience like the source code as before if possible.

Could you please direct me to the way that I should follow in order to design new product in a small size? Which products that I should prefer to use and documents or user guide that I should have a look?

Thank you for your answer and the resources provided.

As you might know, the size of nrf51 development kit is high that I could not use in production. Therefore, I am trying to find alternative ones in a smaller size where I can use nrf51 series chip. For example, I have a look at the nRF51822 Bluetooth Smart Beacon Kit. The size as well as available analog I/O pin and BLE support is fine, but I could not be sure that I can transmit the measurement data via BLE to the phone using that kit.
