New design for nrf51DK

Hi,

I have not yet experienced well on the design and development an application using nrf51 series. Your help will be very useful for my work. My question is as following.

I have used nrf51-dk and developed an application using mbed platform. As a result, I was able to get the value from analog input, evaluate the proper measurements and publish it to a smart phone based on Android operating system via Bluetooth Low Energy. Now, I would like to make the electronic design small as much as possible while I am trying to use previously obtained experience like the source code as before if possible.

Could you please direct me to the way that I should follow in order to design new product in a small size? Which products that I should prefer to use and documents or user guide that I should have a look?

There's good resources on getting started with PCB design on for example sparkfun.

Hi,

This is definitely possible, however If I was going to use the nRF51 series on a module for a product without designing my own PCB, I would go for a module from a module vendor or possibly the nRF51 Dongle. A list of modules for the nRF51/52 series can be found here.
