voltage range of AVDD

Hi Support Team, i want to know the voltage range of AVDD(internal DC/DC output) of NRF51822 when DC/DC enabled, please help to check. i don't find this information in PS or forum.

Hi,

This information can be found in section 7 of the Product Specification.

The supply voltage range for DC/DC mode is 2.1 V to 3.6 V.

Hi Øyvind, i know the input of DCDC is 2.1v-3.6v(VDD), but i want to know the output of internal DC/DC(AVDD)?

Hi,

Ah, sorry for the confusion. There are several output voltages, however these are not suited for powering external devices. You can find figures of this in the Reference Manual, for example in section 12.1.2. Some of the voltages are 1V2 and 1V7. The AVDD voltage is between 0 and 1.8V, please see this post.

hi,you mean the voltage of AVDD is about 0v-1.8v when DCDC enabled? i know the post you suggested, i found that someone said AVDD is about 1.88v when DCDC enabled and another one said 800mV.... looks like it's not one certain value. so, i want to confirm the range of AVDD when DCDC enabled. does the output of internal DCDC depends on the input voltage? b/r

Well, the output of the DCDC when measured depends on the current draw, it will drop slightly under load. It is around 1V8 is all I can say.
