How to reduce the characterstic value read time

Hi, In my project I need to read a characteristic value, I'm using nRF51822, nRF5_SDK_11.0.0_89a8197 and s130_nrf51_2.0.0_softdevice while I reading it takes around 700ms to 1sec when I check with texas controller(i.e cc2541) it takes less than 400 ms. So, I need to reduce the time to read characteristic value can any one help me. I'm using minimum and maximum connection intervals are 12ms and 25ms respectively. And is their any other parameters are effect other than connection intervals on ble transfer speed?.

We need some more information.

Are you able to provide a sniffer trace?

You should check that the connection interval is actually between 12 and 25 ms, some phones will reject low connection intervals automatically. A quick test is increasing the max to 40-50 ms.
