NRF52832 draws too much current during tx app_beacon example

Question

Hello, 
 I measured the current consumption at 0 dbm of the app beacon example.
During the TX send phase I measure a current of more than 11 mA. Thats too high when I compare the values with the datasheet. It should be around 5.3 mA peak current in TX (0 dBm) 
 What do I have to change to reach this TX current consumption?
My guess is that the MCU is not going to sleep druring sending phase...

Have you enabled DCDC converter ( sd_power_dcdc_mode_set )? TX current at 0dBm and DCDC disabled is specified at 11.6mA, see here . The total current will be higher as other resources are used like the high frequency clock (HFCLK). 
 Also take a look at our current estimating tool for nRF52. It is based on real measurements on nRF52 and will give you the current in the different phases of the advertising or connection event. These estimates/measurements are with DCDC enabled.
