Using this ANCS command will in practice require support for doing Long Writes as a GATT Client, and the current version of nRF8001 does not support this. It is hence not possible to use this command with an nRF8001 (unless the App ID is unusually short). I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.
It is however possible to do this with the nRF51822 and S110 version 6.0.0, so if you absolutely need this feature, I'd recommend you to use that chip instead.
