nRF51822 ble uart on ble400 board

Hi, I am trying to get my ble400 board working with nRF51822 chip. I downloaded SDK v11 and made all nedded preparation. I have successfully compiled blinky app, and everything worked fine. My question is how to make ble_app_uart working with nRF51822 IC, because I have not seen any example that has support for my board.

Hi,

I recommend running through the getting started tutorial, since you are using a different board you will need to change the pin mappings, see this page on infocenter for more information.

== Changes from original project for Keil MDK ==

1. Preprocessor Definitions

   • remove BOARD_PCA10028
   • add BOARD_CUSTOM, BOARD_BLE400, REVERSE_LEDS=1

2. BSP files

   • add custom_board.h, ble400.h
   • modify boards.h for REVERSE_LEDS=1

3. Retarget files

   • remove Keil RTT files
   • add SES RTT files

Hi, I tried your code, downloaded Segger Studio and your example. I am able to Build your example and upload them to my BLE400 board witout any problems, but I still can not find BLE400 device when scanning for devices. Thanks, Haris.

Can you see the LED0 is blinking after powering on? Did you flash the SoftDevice first?
