Windows 10 PC GUI for NRF51DK

Hi,

Is it possible to communicate directly between nrf51dk(peripheral) and PC(master)?

With UART communication, I need to connect a board to the PC via USB. But I want to use PC's (Windows 10) bluetooth to communicate directly without the USB and an additional board?

Possibly by porting UART over BLE protocol implemented by Nordic in their Android / iOS apps?

I am an absolute newbie. I have till now used the android apps provided by nordic and mad certain changes to suit my need. So would please explain in detail about the process. Is there a sample code that I can start with?

Hi,

The getting stared tutorial will walk you through the BLE UART example that Marcel is referring to. On the PC side you will have to implement things yourself though.
