Which version of Bluetooth does nRF52832 support

I am evaluating chips for a new project.

I am looking for a chip that can connect with Sony PS3, PS4 controller and most modern/recent cellular phones.

I am confused with many versions of Bluetooth.

Does nRF52832 support

a) BT4.0 for low speed data (tens of bytes) only for coin cell sensor with battery life of 1 year, NO audio, NO high speed data (was called BLE in year 2013)

b) Dual Mode (as it was called in year 2013). That is (a) plus backward compatible with previous BT 3 and 2 for audio and high speed data

2. What mode is Sony PS3 controller. Can it work with nRF52832?

4. Generally, what modes do "recent one to two years" smart cellular phone support? Can it work with nRF52832?

5. Do higher price cell phone support more modes OR these are universally supported by both low and high price?

6. Does nRF52832 work with low (China and India, around 100 USD), medium and high price Android phones?

7. Does nRF52832 work with low and high price Apple phone?

BR/EDR (classic Bluetooth). No

Dual-mode (Both BR/EDR and BLE). Yes

Usually all phones now, even mid-range.

No idea

You will need to use a "dual-mode" or BR/EDR+LE chip, but I cannot really advise you on which one to use, since I do not know them
