Packet length extension on nRF51 dongle

Hello,

I want to use packet length extension with the PCA10040 and SDK v12. The peer will be the nRF51 dongle (PCA10031).

I believe that the nRF51 dongle doesn't currently support the packet length extension feature like the nRF52 does. Am I correct?

If so, when will the nRF51 dongle support this feature?

Hi Michael,

You are correct in that nRF51 (SoftDevice S130) does not support packet lenght extension. There are no current plans for supporting packet length extension on nRF51 in the future.

The best solution would be to buy another nRF52 DK.
