Hi, I'm designing a prototype which uses a 6V battery with nRF51822. According to the specs nRF51822 power supply ranges from 1.8V to 3.6V. Can you tell me how to reduce the 6V into lower one without consuming much current.

The best way to lower the supply voltage in an energy efficient manner is probably to use an external DC/DC buck converter.
use any one you like, there are 20,000 DC/DC buck circuits online, pick whichever one suits you. Or use an LDO and waste 1/2 the power in the battery
