Running JVM on nrf chips.

Hello, Is there a way I can run JVM on nrf51 or nrf52 series devices? I have been searching the forums and did not find any updates on the same. Any OS like embedded linux or a minimalistic version of linux to run Java code on nrf devices will be a great help.
