nRF51822 WLCSP Reference Design No Connection Pins Tied to Ground

I'm using the reference design for the WLCSP nRF51822 package, and I noticed that there are 2 pins (G3 and G4) that are listed as N.C. (No Connection) in the product specification, but they have been tied to ground in the reference design (see pic). I'm assuming this was done to allow for a wider ground trace coming from pin H3, but I want to verify that it is acceptable to tie a No Connection pin to ground on this chip.

I have received an answer on this specific question before for the WLCSP nRF51822.

NC pins must be soldered on to the PCB for mechanical reasons.

NC pins can be soldered to floating pads, or ground pads - it makes no difference to the device.
