A question about "Radio time parameters"

I would like to ask a question about the time of :"Time between DISABLE task and DISABLED event when the radio was in TX" of the "Jitter". In the picture show the "Jitter" value is 1 us. Whether this represents each DISABLE task and DISABLED event when the radio was in TX use time is just 1 us or it will be other ? Maybe 0.1 us or other us...

Thank you

  • Hi,

When you disable the radio, it will go into state "RXDISABLE" (or TXDISABLE, depend on what state you were in) before going into DISABLED state. This is shown in the radio chapter in the reference manual (chapter 16, figure 23).

With this figure, it means that the DISABLE task will not trigger the DISABLED event within MCU one clock cycle, which is why a "semi-state" "RXDISABLE" is added. The event will take < 1 us, but since it uses more than one clock cycle, uncertainties are then added in the jitter column.

    Best regards Håkon
