Eclipse neon does not import project with source files.

I am new to eclipse IDE and I am following tutorial on this page: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

I am able to make the blinky project on the terminal and it does create a build folder under:

/examples/peripherals/blinky/pca10040/blank/armgcc

But I am having no success with eclipse, it does not import any source files

Can someone please help to figure out whats going on in my workspace .

Hi, please make sure that .cproject and .project are located in the 'armcc' folder. Note that these files are hidden on OSX by default.

Then you should be able to import the project as shown in screenshot below:

For importing other example project, If I do what you have said in the tutorial, I again get only makefile and a build directory and a ld file. Am I doing something wrong or need an extra step?

The SDK doesn't include project files for Eclipse, so you need to either use those that are attached in the tutorial, or create your own project as explained in the 'Create a new Eclipse project" section.

When I follow the instruction on creating new eclipse project, it does not work as expected, I don't get source included in the new project :(
