Rollback Software renders device not found in master control

Does anyone know how to remove all Nordic software and clean out all registry keys?

Installed mastercontrolpanel.3.9.0.6.x64.msi and all is working great with the RF Dongle. I upgraded the software, found it was working, but kept asking to update the firmware, which I always said no. Didn't like that it kept asking, so I uninstalled it. Rebooted. Installed the original software. Now the dongle no longer works. I also tried another dongle from another system and that one also doesn't work. How can I get the original version of the software to function properly?

Hi,

You have likely updated the J-Link drivers on your device making the older version incompatible.

Update the firmware on the dongle with the one you can find in the master control panel menu, then try again.

I can not update the dongle on this system, it doesn't show up as a device in the Master Control Software. The JLINK does show up as a device though. I looked at the log, found a problem.

so.. then I found a link to fix this. Update the following registry entry for each user that uses nRFgo Studio, and it should work:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SEGGER\J-Link\InstallPath
