No data to Wireshark from NRF dongle

I am trying to use the NRF51 dongle (PCA10000, firmware ble-sniffer_nRF51822_1.0.1_1111_Sniffer.hex) with the sniffer software but on selecting a sniff source and starting Wireshark (1.10.3) it doesn't seem to get any packets. On investigating the problem I noticed that the pipe in capture sources is showing "(null)" after the name so I'm guessing for some reason Wireshark is not properly getting the pipe, but have no idea why.

I am using 64-bit Windows 10 Home, but another guy tested it on Windows 7 with the same result. And yes, I am running sniffer as an administrator. What might be the problem ?

Actually I got it working yesterday using Wireshark 1.10.6. Apparently another guy in work had managed to get it working with that version so I installed that version and it worked fine.

Seems that sniffer is VERY fussy about Wireshark version.
