What type of transmitter/receiver can suit this purpose?

Hello All,

I am looking for a stand alone small transmitter/receiver that can be powered from a watch battery with a range of at least 300m. Is any of the nordic solutions can suit this requirement?

Be candid as I am new in the hardware arena.

Using the nRF51822/422 in 250 kbps mode, it should possible to achieve a range of 300 m. However, a range of 300 m is stretching it a little. For long range, it could also be a good idea to add a power amplifier to increase the output power and increase the range.

Note: I would recommend you to test it before starting heavy development. If testing the range, it could be a good idea to test the actual use case, it is a big difference between an open field and an area with a lot of obstacles.
