BLE apps failing

Hi,

I just started with the nrf 51822 eval kit. I've used keil before and am using the evaluation version. The Blinky example compiles, uploads and can debug fine (step through code, hits breakpoints etc.) However I cannot successfully run any of the BLE examples. Keil reports no errors compiling and uploading the program. Debugging fails to stop at break points or freezes at a particular address. I've used other BLE radios to scan for the eval kit thinking maybe its just debug that is wonky but nothing shows up.

Hello Mathew,

Sounds like you may have forgotten to flash over the S110 nRF51822 Softdevice, so that the bluetooth stack is actually present on the device. This stack is not needed for the "common" examples such as blinky.

The S110 nRF51822 Softdevice can be downloaded from "My Page" when you log in at nordicsemi.com
