Secure DFU in SDK12 and FreeRTOS

I am about to implement the secure DFU on our custom board using SD132 V3.0.0 and SDK12. When I worked with SDK11 I had to make a bunch of changes to the bootloader to work with FreeRTOS, see devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../.

Are these changes required with SDK12?

As far as I know most of the kinks and bugs in the FreeRTOS implementation from SDK v11.0.0 should be fixed now.
