Android 4.4.4 cannot detect nRF51822 Beacon device

Hello, I am using Lenovo (late 2015 release) with android 4.4.4.

Got my nRF51822 Bluetoot Smart Beacon kit and downloaded the applications that are available on Playstore in order to make the first connection to the beacon.

Steps that i have made to connect to the beacon:

1. plugged the battery into the device (it blinks the purple led)
2. run the background service
3. run the nRF beacon app and clicked on the + button to scan the beacon

never stops scanning.

Phone has nearby enabled, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth running.

Am i doing something wrong?

Beacon has been detected !

1. I Removed the battery from the Beacon
2. Turned off every app on my phone related to the beacon.
3. The same battery was inserted
4. Started the nRF Beacon app and saw the icon in notification bar that the service has started right away.

The beacon was detected after 3 seconds.

I am happy i can check on the possibilities now.
