Programming nRF chip using i-Jet Debugger

Hi,

I have an i-Jet Debugger. Please find the details at the below link: www.iar.com/.../

Can i use this to program softdevice & Bootloader on my nRF BLE chip. Can you please guide us. Also can this debugger to be used to BLE chip via nrfgo studio.

Hi,

I have not tested the I-Jet, but there are some other threads about it (with various results apparently) here on DevZone. See this and this thread. In general, any SWD compliant debugger should work. However, we cannot guarantee that it will work, you will have to verify this by yourself. Check out chapter 16 - Debug and trace in nRF52832 product specification or chapter 11 - Debugger Interface in nRF51 reference manual. You might also get som support from the developer of the debugger.

nRFgo Studio will only work with SEGGER debuggers, i.e., the I-Jet will not work.
