ble_advertising softdevice fault

[Definitely Confused]

I'm trying to get the default SDK v12.0.0 BLE App UART running with SoftDevice S130 v2.0.1, with minimal customization (I just enable the Peer Manager module in sdk_config.h, for future changes). But, when I try to run it via IAR, sometimes I will receive a SoftDevice fault during ble_advertising_start. Other times, it will jump to some "Unknown Handler" if I just hit "continue."

Has anyone encountered these kinds of issues before?

Did you solve the issue? Note that as soon as the softdevice is running, you can't single step due to the BLE time slots. You could use uart/ RTT logging for debugging purposes. In all other cases you will run into the fault handler.

I think this was the issue. Once I avoid breakpoints it stopped having this problem.
