nrf51822 MAC address add one while OTA failed

Hi, nrf51822 device obverse six bytes mac addres could change，when OTA failed. six bytes mac address, five bytes fixed, one byte can change when OTA failed.

Now，my app connect nrf1822 device by nrf1822 device mac address and will remember nrf1822 mac for only identification. If OTA failed，device MAC will add one. However, my app still remember original mac address and connect device by original mac address, so my app can not find my device by original mac. If OTA failed, MAC address add one, could my device mac conflict with other device mac? Could I remember five bytes fixed mac for only identification when app connects my device? Could five fixed MAC be same as other nrf1822 device？

Which SDK and SoftDevice version are you using? The bootloader will increment the nRF51822's MAC address by 1 if no peer data has been shared by the application, see this Infocenter page for more information.

The simplest solution would probably be to modify the app so that it looks for both addresses, i.e. MAC and MAC+1.
