What Nordic Chip to use, need help

I came over from the Arduino forums, I am searching for a new RF chip to use for a project i am working on but dont know which chip to pick. My application requires a very slow data rate as it is not time sensitive. but i need the best possible range i can find. Some restrictions.

Tranceiver only 1.8-2v operation only 800-1000 meter range required. ultra low sleep mode required only restricted to PCB antenna's but the Rx side will have a very high gain antenna connected.

Which Chip would you recommend maybe the NRF9E5 ?

Yes I agree , I have started playing with a design using the 905 . Calculation say I should Get around 1 km with 6db output and 10 dB gain on RX side . My biggest concern now is , which PCB antenna design to use ..... Does anyone maybe have any eagle files already laid out?

What type of antenna did you do your calculations with? If calculations tells you that you should really have free line-of-sight and good weather to achieve that with a PCB antenna ;)
