Hi all,
Is the "to-be-sniffed" advertisement packet allowed to have incorrect CRC, or perhaps a missing CRC? I.e. Is it possible for the sniffer to just display the raw data of preamble and access address?
Thank you, Ray

A advertisement packet does not need to be "correct" for the sniffer to display it. Here is an example of a malformed advertisement packet captured by the sniffer:
Thank you very much!
The reason is because I'm building a software defined radio on FPGA with BLE packets, and I'm failing to capture any signal using a sniffer.
Could you help me once more, and display the limitation of when the sniffer would no longer display the packet? I'm assuming the least it'd need is preamble+access address.
