To confirm this link text. I want to know how to run raspbian-kernel v3.17.4.

Is there rasbian image including kernel v3.17.4 in rasbian images site ?

I'm having trouble understanding what you exactly you mean, but you don't need to use that image anymore.

6lowpan support is now included in the kernel. You can use Raspbian Jessie Lite and follow this.

I know latest version has the problem. so I wont to confirm whether old version has same problem.
