Reading battery voltage using nrf51822

Hi, I am reading battery voltage using nRF51822 microcontroller. I set the ADC configuration as 8 bit the result should be 255 but i am getting around 511 value. I am not sure this is the way can able to find the voltage.

Check out this example about measuring battery voltage and sending the value over BLE with the nRF51. If you haven't already seen it, I would also recommend this blog post about Measuring Lithium battery voltage with nRF51.
