Bricked PCA100028

I have a PCA100028 not working anymore. not sure what I have done to the board. I have a couple of other PCA100028's work well on the same computer. The program left on the board still turns LED1, LED2, LED3. LD5 (The led beside the SEGGER IC) is off.

If I hold BOOT/RESET button and power on, I got BOOTLOADER drive on my computer and LD5 will flash 0.5 second on and 0.5 seconds off. But after about 10 seconds, BOOTLOADER drive will disappear. LD5 still flashing.

It looks like the board is not totally bricked.

After reading through a few thread about recovery, I am still not 100% sure.

I don't remember if the bootloader should exit after 10 seconds, but my procedure would be to first go to the download section here; www.nordicsemi.com/.../eng-GB

Download the nRF5x-OB-JLink-IF

Start the bootloader mode again, and drag and drop the nRF5x-OB-JLink-IF.bin onto the bootloader drive. Hope that works.

I verified the 10 seconds again. The bootload drive does stay there. Not sure why I thought it was 10 seconds. So I put the nRF5x-OB-Jlink-IF (latest file: J-Link OB-SAM3U128-V2-NordicSemi 160212.bin) there. After it finished copy, the bootload drive is gone. I recycled the power on PCA100028, LD5 is solid on and I always get a JLINK drive, but still no connection to nRF studio.
