How would you go about extending Gazelle ?
For example I have a host with four devices. I want to connect this host to another host with its own set of devices.

Hi Andre,
Gazell is not really made for such an application. It's target applications are desktop peripherals (mouse, keyboard, etc) and other star-network topologies.
What you want is a mesh-network. I recommend that you look into the ANT protocol (www.thisisant.com) and the nRF51422.

But in the user guide it says the following :
"It is possible to build more sophisticated Gazell networks, since a single Device is able to speak to several Hosts and any node is able to change between the two modes. However, this requires the application to coordinate such a network."
Is this then not possible ?
Hi Andre,
It is possible, but Gazell is not well suited for switching between host and device. ANT is a better candidate in such an application (mesh+star network topology)
Best regards Håkon
Can you be more specific please? What challenges are caused by Gazelle and are solved by ANT? I have a static broadcast application with mostly receiving nodes. Single node addressability is not required. Latency requirements are lax.
